I did it, y'all. I rebranded.
With the help of the incredible Kristy Black (please check out their work if you're not already familar!), I've finally turned Golden Poppy Digital into something that looks and feels like what I want this business to be.
And you, my lovely newsletter friends, get to be the first to see the new fonts, colors, and general β¨vibeβ¨
Please bear in mind that I'm writing this newsletter while on Day 4 of The Cold from Hellβ’οΈ, so if any of this is nonsensical, we're going to blame it on the DayQuil.
BUT.
We all know that this has been a long time coming, right? That the logo I made with the help of Canva and some delulu was not going to stand the test of time?
(It's all good. You can tell me you knew it was coming.)
After a year (!!) in business, I just felt like it was time for something new. But I'm a single mom! And I'm trying to run a business! And coach a softball team of feral 8-year-olds! And volunteer with Girl Scouts! And am apparently running comms for the PTA next year π±
SO, as is dictated by my values, I decided to throw money at it. Because if it's not something that inspires you, and it's not something you want to spend time on, invest in help from a small business so you can reclaim your time, for yourself and your community!
The full logo reveal will be up on Instagram in the coming days, but when I tell you it is so thoughtfully crafted, so painstakingly detailed, so fucking VALIDATING β I mean, I know that I filled out like, a 30-page intake form to give Kristy the information they needed to make this happen, but it still somehow felt like they were inside my brain. (Like, to the point where I texted my bestie about it.) THAT is the kind of support and partnership that every small business owner deserves π§‘
So enjoy the sneak peek, and steel yourselves for the full reveal of Golden Poppy Digital: Autumnal Emo Edition π€π»π
